SERVICES
SPINCLEAN PURIFYING vs FUEL POLISHING

Heading 6

SPINCLEAN IN ACTION
Real-world fuel cleaning, sludge removal,
and system restoration in critical facilities.
Underground Hospital Tank
North-Central Florida (15,000 Gallons)
Underground tanks accumulate water and sludge that routine maintenance cannot fully remove.
Municipal Water Plant
Southeast Florida
Side-by-side results show the difference between treated fuel and truly clean fuel.
Hospital Fuel System
North-Central Florida (12,000 Gallons)
Large hospital fuel systems require contamination control that standard polishing does not provide.
Municipal Water Plant
Southeast Florida (10,000 Gallons)
Fuel previously serviced by standard polishing still required ten filters for re-cleaning one year later.
Reclamation Water Facility
Souteast Florida (1,500 Gallons)
SpinDri™ Process ensures municipal backup systems that depend on fuel will perform without exception
Data Facility Fuel System
North-Central Florida (700 Gallons)
Even smaller fuel systems demand precision cleaning in high-availability environments.
01. SYSTEM OVERVIEW
On‑Site Diesel Fuel Cleaning & Conditioning
Our advanced diesel fuel cleaning and conditioning uses a proprietary multi‑stage process that removes water and particulate contamination at levels far exceeding conventional fuel polishing.
SpinClean systems are engineered to restore the integrity of the entire fuel supply chain—tank to engine—resulting in cleaner combustion, reduced wear, and extended equipment life.
Key Outcomes:
-
Removes free water, emulsified water, and particulate contamination
-
Restores fuel to ultra‑dry, ultra‑clean condition
-
Improves reliability, efficiency, and uptime
-
Performed on‑site with minimal operational disruption

02. PROPRIETARY SPINDRI™ PROCESS
Multi‑Stage Extraction, Separation & Filtration
The SpinDri™ process combines centrifugal extraction, repeated backwash cycles, multilayer zero‑bypass filtration, and high‑efficiency water separation to progressively remove contaminants without channeling or bypass.
Unlike single‑pass or sock‑filter systems, SpinDri™ continuously cleans and reconditions fuel until target cleanliness levels are achieved.
Process Elements:
-
Centrifugal extraction
-
Repeated backwash cycles
-
Multi‑layer zero‑bypass filtration
-
High‑efficiency water separation
TECHNICAL INFORMATION & SPECIFICATIONS
03. FILTRATION TECHNOLOGY
Multi‑Layer, Zero‑Bypass Depth Filtration
SpinClean utilizes seven patented multilayer depth‑filter elements with sub‑micron capture capability (<0.5 µm). Each element contains nine laminations, producing an exceptionally large effective filtration surface area.
Housings are ultrasonically welded and mechanically clamped to eliminate bypass and prevent slippage common in stitched or sock‑style filters.
Design Features:
-
Seven patented multilayer filter elements
-
<0.5 micron particle capture
-
Ultrasonically welded, clamped housings
-
Zero bypass architecture

04. FILTRATION SURFACE AREA & FLOW CHARACTERISTICS
Large Surface Area + Controlled Flow = Higher Precision
SpinClean systems provide approximately 132 square feet of total filtration surface area with a controlled flow rate of 35 gallons per minute. The combination of large surface area and slower flow through dense media enables significantly higher contaminant capture compared to conventional systems that rely on small surface area filters and high flow rates.
Performance Characteristics:
-
~132 sq ft total filtration surface area
-
35 gallons per minute flow rate
-
Slower, denser media contact
-
Increased contaminant capture efficiency
05. WATER REMOVAL PERFORMANCE
Ultra‑Dry Fuel Output
Water is the primary driver of microbial growth, corrosion, and fuel degradation. High heat and humidity cause contamination of stored diesel and corrosion of tanks - especially in Florida's climate - within 30 days of its refinement and often long before transportation and on-site storage. SpinClean’s separation technology removes both free and emulsified water, producing ultra‑dry fuel that inhibits biological contamination and protects system components.
Water Control Benefits:
-
Removes free and emulsified water
-
Achieves extremely low ppm water content
-
Reduces microbial growth risk
-
Minimizes corrosion and sludge formation

06. PARTICLE CLEANLINESS RESULTS & COMMON RAIL ENGINE PROTECTION
Engine‑Grade Cleanliness for Modern High‑Pressure Fuel Systems
Modern common rail diesel engines operate at extremely high injection pressures and utilize injector clearances smaller than 5 microns, making them highly susceptible to damage from microscopic particulate contamination.
SpinClean’s sub‑micron, zero‑bypass filtration removes particles down to <0.5 µm — approximately the size range of many bacteria — providing a level of cleanliness that directly supports the protection requirements of today’s high‑pressure common rail systems. SpinClean routinely achieves ISO 4406 particle counts that are 100–1000× cleaner than newly delivered (“new‑to‑you”) diesel fuel.
Why This Matters:
-
Common rail injectors and pumps operate at pressures up to ~30,000 psi
-
Injector clearances are smaller than 5 microns
-
Particles in the 0.5–4 micron range cause accelerated wear, erosion, and spray‑pattern distortion
SpinClean Advantage:
-
<0.5 micron particle capture capability
-
ISO 18/16/13 or better cleanliness levels (depending on client requirements)
-
100–1000× cleaner than newly delivered diesel
-
Reduced injector wear and failure risk
-
Improved combustion

08. OPERATIONAL & COMPLIANCE BENEFITS
Reliability, Documentation & Risk Reduction
Routine SpinClean service provides documented fuel condition data and service records that support compliance, auditing, and preventive maintenance programs while reducing operational risk.
Benefits:
-
Improved reliability and uptime
-
Documented service and testing
-
Reduced equipment failure risk
-
Supports regulatory and internal compliance
07. SYSTEM COMPATIBILITY & APPLICATIONS
Broad Equipment Compatibility
SpinClean services are comon efficiency and engine lifepatible with above‑ground and underground storage tanks and support a wide range of diesel‑powered equipment and infrastructure across critical industries.
Applications Include:
-
Backup generators
-
Data centers
-
Healthcare facilities
-
Municipal fleets
-
Transportation & DOT
-
Industrial and military systems

FAQs

Stored diesel fuel degrades over time. It absorbs moisture from condensation, oxidizes, and accumulates fine particulate matter. Water is diesel’s greatest enemy — it drives microbial growth, corrosion, sludge formation, and fuel instability.
Most conventional fuel polishing systems simply recirculate fuel through filters. This approach often stirs up water and sludge from the tank bottom and redistributes it back into the fuel above, rather than removing it.
SpinClean purifying is fundamentally different. We extract contaminants and free water directly from the tank bottom, where damage and failures originate, instead of merely filtering fuel in circulation. The result is cleaner, drier fuel and a restored tank environment, not just temporary improvement.
